/ES has every day at 3:50pm to 3:50:30 seconds it either goes up or down (almost a spike), which determines a higher probability of where /es will end at close around 4pm. Try it on any day and you will observe it.
Turns out for /CL 2pm - 2:30 pm EST is the last half hour trade of Crude. Although trading of /CL goes till 2:35pm EST.
